This morning we woke up to snow! The news said the storm wouldn't even come close to us but it hasn't stopped snowing since this morning! Grandpa and Hagen have been out plowing every sidewalk in town! Today was the 144Th's Christmas Party that my Mom was in charge of, and it went well! Dad of course won the guitar! While Mom and Grandma were at the party we decorated Grandma's house. It is so nice to finally have snow!!!! Maybe we WILL have a white Christmas for once!

Christmas Spirit!!
Our family has really been into the Holiday spirit this week! For Thanksgiving we went down to Monroe and that was lots of fun, we even brought Roscoe!
On Saturday we went and looked for a Christmas tree, but mom and dad were too picky and just couldn't find one perfect enough, so we went home and came back the next day. There was no snow so we drove clear to the top of the mountain and then down the other side, just when we thought we would never find a tree mom found one in the middle of the forest, so dad cut it down and put it on the 4 wheeler. What we didn't realize was that the trees around it were too thick to get the tree out! So we just gave up on it. I was in the car with Kellie taking a nap cause we had been on the mountain FOREVER then I saw my dad coming with the tree, it was a Griswold moment for sure! So we got our tree after all, we had to cut 3 ft. off it to get it in the trailer and it still was 16 ft. tall!
Today Tracy came over and gave us all a lesson on how to make proper paper snowflakes, while she was here we cooked some beautiful Halloween cookies that have been in our freezer for 2 months now (YUM). Tonight we are going to put up our lights outside and if grandpa will build a stand ( the trunk on this tree is too big for regular stands!) We will put the tree up too!
Well that's all for now! Love the Leavitt/ Griswold family

Carving Pumpkins
We all went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday and somehow ended up with 20 pumpkins! (could that have anything to do with the fact that Grandma went with us?) So last night was spent carving pumpkins till our hands fell off!
FUN FUN FUN !
P.S. I would add pictures but our computer is SUPER slow today
